A Fulani man simply identified as Ishaku has reportedly stabbed one Abdulmumuni Otaru to death in Osara, along Okene-Lokoja road.
It was gathered that the ugly incident happened on Friday at the football pitch of Osara campus of Kogi State Polytechnic.
Ishaku, who is currently at large, was said to be beating his wife and was interrupted by the deceased.
“Ishaku who was not pleased with the interruption reacted by stabbing Otaru to death,”our source explained.
Responding to the incident, the Administrator of Okehi Local Government Area, Hon Abdulraheem Ohiare sues for calm, advising residents not to take laws into their hands.
The situation has been brought under control as security agencies have been drafted to ensure peace and forestall further breakdown of law and order.
